AGM

We are holding our very first AGM on Tuesday, 29th April at 7.30pm. This will be held at the Fleur De Lys pub in East Hagbourne.

We will be discussing what we have achieved in our first year along with our vision for the year ahead.

Didcot Emergency Food Bank

A special thank you goes out to Didcot Baptist Church and Didcot Emergency Food Bank.

Didcot Baptist Church have very kindly allowed us to work alongside them during their food bank hours. This allows us to have a safe space where we can meet people face to face - both to accept donations and to hand out bundles to our families. Without this space we simply would not be able to operate and so we cannot thank you enough!

SOHA have been an incredible advocate of First Steps Baby Bank in these early days. Through their established networks SOHA are spreading the word about what we do, have provided our very first funding support and they are also collecting donations for us in their reception area.

Thank you SOHA - you are amazing and we are very grateful!

Sainsbury's - Orchard Centre Store

Sainsbury's have given us enormous support by allowing us to put a donation basket in their Didcot (Orchard Centre) store. Having a drop off point in such a central location with long opening hours makes it so much easier for people to drop their donations to us.

Thank you Sainsbury's - this really is a huge help!

All Yours

We are delighted to be working with All Yours who are helping to keep us stocked up with maternity pads and period products.

'At All Yours we believe everyone should have the period products they need for a safe and comfortable period. We also know that period education is key to ensuring women, girls and people who have periods know which products suit their lifestyle, circumstances and bodies best. Our aim is to provide as many period boxes and period education workshops as possible so that people in our local communities can look after their menstrual health. We currently work in West Berkshire, Swindon, Basingstoke, South Oxfordshire and many surrounding areas.'

Please look them up and support the fantastic work they do, or get in touch with them if you need support with period products or advice. They are an amazing team.
