Unfortunately, we are not able to collect donations or deliver items to families.
We will always have an up to date wish list detailing the items that we need. This can be found in the donations section of our website or pinned to the top of our Facebook and Instagram pages. If you are unsure or have questions please email us at contact@firststepsbabybank.co.uk.
Yes, however we only accept stage 1 formula . This must be sealed and have a minimum of three months left on the expiry date.
Yes, we accept baby food and snacks for children over 6 months old. This must be sealed and have a minimum of three months left on the expiry date. We do not accept any food that has to be refrigerated.

No, unfortunately our insurance does not cover any electrical items and we are therefore unable to accept them.
No, unfortunately at present we are unable to accept shoes.
Yes please! Please ensure all items are cleaned and all clothing is freshly washed prior to donating. We are a very small team and receiving items in fantastic condition means we can get them out to our families much quicker. Please donate items in the condition you would like to receive them. Thank you.
Donations can be dropped to us at Didcot Baptist Church, Wantage Road OX11 0BS on Tuesdays and Fridays between 11am - 1pm. We also have donation baskets at Sainsburys, Orchard Centre and in the reception area of SOHA (opposite Didcot train station).
There may be occasions when we are unable to use the items donated to us. We reserve the right to sell these items and use the funds raised to help support local families.
All clothing items are thoroughly checked before issuing out to families, if these do not meet the standards required these will be recycled ensuring that we are protecting the environment.
Cash donations will be spent on items that have to be new such as mattresses, bottle teats etc or for items that families desperately need that we do not have in our stock of donated items. Financial donations will also help to cover the running costs of the baby bank.
