Our Aim
Our aim is to support local families, in Didcot and the surrounding villages, during a time of hardship. We will help to relieve poverty in our community by providing essential baby items, free of charge, to families in need.
What is First Steps Baby Bank?
We are a non-profit organisation, providing essential baby items, free of charge to families during a time of need.
To be operational, a steady flow of donations are required. Donations can be in the form of new and pre loved items alongside financial contributions.
In order for families to access the baby bank, they require a third party referral from a professional person working alongside their family.
Reasons for Referral include but are not limited to:

Poverty
Refugee/asylum seeker status or newly arrived to the UK
Domestic violence/leaving family home
Isolation from family
Teenage pregnancy
Military families in need
Victims of fire or flooding
Children in emergency foster placements
Homelessness or living in temporary accommodation
We help individuals and families from all backgrounds, regardless of their personal situation.
